Cancel or reschedule a class
Just need the quick answer?
See the short version in the FAQPlans change — and we make sure your attendees stay in the loop without any extra work from you. The cancel and reschedule flows are built into your dashboard. You don't need to update your refund policy or terms ahead of time, and you don't need to manually email or text anyone. Pick the option that fits your situation, choose how to take care of paid attendees, and we'll handle the notifications, calendar updates, and refund tracking from there.
Reschedule a class
- Open the class from your dashboard to land on the Class Details page.
- Click the Reschedule button (the calendar icon near the class title).
- Pick a new date, start time, and end time. The new time must be in the future.
- Choose what to offer attendees who can't make the new time: both cash refund and class credit, class credit only, cash refund only, or no refund or credit (for non-refundable classes — attendees are still notified, but no money moves).
- Optionally add a short note for attendees explaining the change.
- If this is a recurring class, choose whether the change applies to just this class or this and all future classes in the series.
- Confirm. We'll notify everyone immediately.
Cancel a class
- Open the class from your dashboard.
- Change the class status to Cancelled. (If no one is registered yet, you can simply delete it.)
- Add a brief cancellation reason — it's included in the attendee notification.
- Choose how to handle paid attendees: auto-refund through Stripe, issue class credits, or no refund or credit (for non-refundable classes — attendees are notified the class is non-refundable). You can still process individual refunds later from the attendee list.
- Confirm. Cancellation notices go out right away.
What happens automatically
- Every confirmed attendee gets an email and an SMS letting them know.
- Reschedule notifications include one-tap Confirm and Request refund or credit links that match the option you chose.
- Reminder emails and texts for the class are rescheduled or cancelled automatically.
- Synced Google Calendar events are updated to the new time or removed.
- A live Reschedule Responses panel on the class page shows who confirmed and who asked for a refund or credit, in real time.
What you don't need to do
- No need to update your terms or refund policy first — you choose the refund option at the moment you cancel or reschedule.
- No need to manually email or text attendees with the news.
- No need to update your calendar or cancel reminder messages by hand.
